Are my photos published when stored in Gaia?

No, your photos are yours. You decide who sees your photos.

Which file formats are supported?

We currently support jpeg, png, and tiff. Do you miss something? Let us know!

I am not an owner of a business, can I still use Gaia?

Unfortunately, we do not yet offer support for private individuals. If we do, we will announce that on our Facebook page!

Payments

Do I have to enter my payment details for an account?

No! Gaia is a free platform. We only ask for your payment details if you switch to a premium plan.

Can I pay afterwards?

Unfortunately, we do not offer afterward payments. Payments are made beforehand with SEPA Direct Debit or Credit Card.

Platform

What does "Processing" mean during upload?

We process your photos after uploading to our cloud. During processing we make previews so that you can quickly browse through your photos. In addition, we extract the dominant color and store all the metadata in the photos.

What are collections?

You can collect photos and folders in collections. We encourage you to use collections to collect content that is not directly linked to a tag or topic. Such as a portfolios or presskits. After all, you can add tags for topics!
